Bad Habit

They say it takes 21 days to break a habit.
It worked for me, but I didn't keep track of the days.
I haven't craved soda since. No fizzy fix.
See, it came easily since I didn't think about it.
When it comes to you I can focus on everything else,
but you're always there. In my peripheral vision.
Not only in the back of my mind, but even further.
But you're still there. Natural. Where you belong.
You're stuck in the little shoebox of my mind,
snuggly fit between my addictions and obsessions.
They say it takes 21 days to break a habit.
It took 21 days for you to become my habit.
